- Please be respectful of fellow visitors, staff and volunteers. Harassment, threatening behaviour, loud or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.
- Do not touch, lean on or climb any of the exhibits, cases, or artefacts unless signage explicitly permits it — this helps preserve them for future visitors.
- Food, drink, and chewing gum are not allowed in gallery and exhibition spaces.
- Photography is permitted for personal use only, unless otherwise posted.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
- Use and entry of service animals is permitted under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act; Pets are not allowed.
- Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times; please dress in appropriate attire for a public museum environment.
- Weapons, alcohol, illegal substances, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, helium balloons, confetti, and items deemed hazardous by staff are prohibited on the premises.
- Please follow all instructions, signs and barriers — for your safety and the protection of the collections (e.g., do not block aisles, climb on structures, tamper with fire-safety or security devices).
- We reserve the right to refuse admission, revoke membership, or remove visitors who violate this code of conduct, without refund.
