The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame is preparing to undergo a complete re-design of the museum gallery. The new exhibition will open in time for the facility’s 20th anniversary celebrations in 2023. The project is supported with a $494,250 Tourism Recovery Grant from FedNor.
An Ad-Hoc Committee was established by the Town of Parry Sound Council to provide feedback on the planning and design process. An exhibition design and fabrication team consisting of exhibition fabricators Kubik Maltbie, design firm WeatherstonBruer Associates, and Lord Cultural Resources will handle interpretive planning, research and content writing.
This team has worked extensively together, examples of their past projects include the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, and newly opened Brian Mulroney Hall at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia.
Updates on the project will be shared here, when available.
